I think art that is useful is fantastic, surrounding yourself with objects that you can use and admire combines pleasure with utility.

Designing furniture or objects for someone in particular gives me even more pleasure, knowing that the piece will integrate and embellish a living or working space is a great achievement.

Combining materials lightens metal structures, which is why I often use wood and glass in my pieces.
